Why am i being told that i have won a lotter on fc that i have not entered?? Also that i have a message and then asking if i would like a green card to work in america??

any clue anyone or am i really a millionnaire??, in which case i wont need the green card cos i aint working anywhere lol
 
huh?? I dunno...sounds strange. Wouldn't be the first strange thing on FC to me!
 
I keep getting ads for nursery/kids room decor and baby stuff and I don't have kids...hmm, is someone trying to tell me something? EEK!! ;)
 
well apparantly i have been "chosen" and have won an amazing prize but out of curiosity i just filled everything in, it asked for my mobile number so they could send me a text and then i had to confirm that i wanted the prize.

No not giving mobile number out so i guess i will just have to miss out on that $10,000...

Seriously someone tell me whats going on??

Same here about green card. Is some one hacking. My PC's acting up on FC.
Anyone know whats going on?
 
Is everyone referring to the ad banner at the top of the page? I've noticed some "out of the norm" ads on there.
 
Yeah I think something is going on....my laptop is acting screwy.
 
advertising revenue...keeps the site running but...my pages are loading so very slowly ever since the bouncing credit cards hit the ads. Pain in the arse..
 
Yikes! Just got a "Fart Button" ad...was tempted to push it though! Yeah, I like potty humor.
 
Not to be an alarmist, but today I have three notices from my security thingy ..... all three have come up only while I'm on FC. I don't know if there is a connection, but thought I should mention it.
 
I've also had strange things happening. Twice, was redirected from a thread to "search not found" page and it displayed "allsources.com" in the search bar. Maybe one of the admins can comment. Coicidence or techno-twilight zone?

Yes, we're testing a new ad service, no it's not the same one that had the credit card ad.

No, the ads have nothing to do with your security issues - especially Mikec's. Check your PC for spyware.

I have the option to manually review the ads being served and block certain ones. If you think the screaming smilies are bad, you should see what's been blocked already ;) I have about 250 more ads to review at the moment.

Back to it...
