Up til VERY recently Merc orders from SEND ONLY shops had a code ending in ZA; apparently it's now changed to AA. We received an order from 75-0043AA which is Loblaws in Weston (according to FTD Member services) and an FTD employee told me they're in the book but they're not; last week an order from the same code had a ZA! I guess this change is just in time for Mother's Day so most florists won't find out about it til it's too late; VERY SNEAKY FTD and we won't forget!

I have been swamped with Calls from FTD for their product. WHen I give them the total with taxes, they always says they have to get back to us. Lots of fooling around for nothing. Sometime they do, sometime they don't.
I am very selective what I am doing with them and if it is too many problems they will be told not to call me anymore.
They are getting no discount neither. Most of the time, they are going back to the recepient to get more $$$$$$.

I only see 13 ZA shops listed in the last directory and one is the White House!Rock said:

When we were FTD we had 4 shops we were required to pay membership for all 4 stores. Main shop had ftd# with AA all other stores were ZA. And even though we had computers at the other shop we were not allowed to receive only send. All ins for our other shops were only received at the main store and then had to be faxed out to the proper store if it could not be filled at the main location.Rock said:

PS. When ever I had to call out an order and I gave it as ZA I would get harrassed by the receiving shop that that was not a valid FTD # so I end up just giving them the AA number to bill it to.

Just forwarded 2 orders from them back to them , if they have a flowershop in the supermarket up the road why is it not in their (Loblaws) best interest to have one of their own shops fill it? I know why, so f#%K em I won't be filling them.

Boss , It was in the DARK AGES only if you consider 4 years ago the dark ages. FTD would not change that for us and we were a top 200 florist and that was when FTD still had the bulk of membership. This was just another reason why we jumped ship. Teleflora only requires you pay one membership fee.

I am pro advantage also and I have no problems with Mark referenceing it I am learning a lot by reading what he has to say and how I can use advantage in ways I might not have thought of. Likewise i enjoy know what other systems can and can not do.
