New Dove Update Disc

I just attempted to load the update and as it hit cardads-- a trojan warning came up from "symantic anti virus" Wo!!!!!! I immediately quit the update, called Dove support and was told to "override" my anti-virus!!! The Dove disc and the anti-virus weren't communicating!
Needless to say, I told the girl she was nuts and I wasn't over-riding my anti virus. She better get me a new disc. Yeah right!! Has anyone else had trouble?

Sometimes anti-virus software needs to be disabled when installing certain software or updates.

Yes, I had this happen as well. All I did was disable my symantec, load the update then enable the symantec back on. The symantec is reading the update as a trojan virus even though it's not. My husband gave me more techie terms as to why symantec is doing this (outside company software, new update, yada yada yada!). Anyway, my dove is loaded and no problem.

I've never had this happen on Dove updates before. I am still hesitant to overide the software when it comes to a Trojan Warning!
