From Matt Cutts on Twitter:

Here's some more info about Google's Caffeine update: http://bit.ly/caffeine-update I'm excited about the new infrastructure!

Try the sandbox, you may like the results! I sure did!

Did I beat Daz on this one? ;)

I like the results ;)

I noticed the "Top 3" was missing... wonder if it'll stay that way?

I had to re-enter my city name at the top, and it actually popped up the 10 pack first.

Interesting order:

ftd.com
florist.com
proflowers.com
ten pack
1800.com
teleflora

FTD with the top 2 spots, and it looks like these are the .com results, not the .ca, as our .ca results are always dominated by Canadian OG sites.

How come these don't get hit for duplicate content????????????????????

They're about mirror images of each other...

It looks to me like they have different products, and a much more limited offering on Florist.com. The navigation is different as well.

Very nice work to game it that way IMO.

So, you think they favour brands much? /sarcasm

.ca results probably won't be available until it's rolled out. Only .com results for now.

Interesting that Google seems to have put much more emphasis on recency and social media sites in this update. Twitter is going to get a lot more traffic, now.

Yeah, because I was afk for a day in Portland. :p lol

I almost went here to post this, but have read it won't change results much. - It might, who knows, that's just what I read.

Also I tweet more about tech now a days that post here.

You can compare the search results here:

Props to the guys who threw this together quickly :)

I noticed that David's website was #21 and Florist Detective was #22 for keyword "Florist", but both dropped in the new algorithm. I also notice honest florist will move up to #14.
