website: www.petalandbean.com - this is our fourth website, the preivous ones were all information, this is our first attempt at an ecommerce site.

husband and wife run shop in breckenridge, co. my wife has been in the industry for over 30 years. I have been redesigning our website for almost a year! I am a big fan of technology and look forward with exchanging ideas and information with everybody.

please feel free to give me feedback on our new website. yes, we are a teleflora member, and use teleflora pictures, but am working on getting a light box and other pro items to enhance and create professional photos.

I'm curious about the "Create and account" section of your site. Is/are there things a person with an "account" gets to see or use (like previous order history) that a person just browsing does not?
 
Bean? Did I miss something? Are you also a coffee shop?

Do a search here before buying a light box. There are some good suggestions for alternatives.
 
the name change came back in 2004, when we did put in an espresso machine and were making coffee and tea drinks for a few years. the wedding business was so good this past summer, we decided to sell the equipment and stop serving drinks. but, we did decide to keep selling the beans and (tea) leaves to put into our gift baskets, and therefore keep the name. we sell gourmet, organic, fair-trade beans and artisan teas. we live in a ski resort town, so the gift baskets do well in the winter, when weddings aren't as plentiful.

Been there, done that...but planning to bring it back, perhaps next Spring...
