Hello, Flowerchat community! I am a new member, Polly Berginc, AIFD. I have been in the retail florist business for 18 years, and a former shop owner for 10 years. I am Master Florist Manager certified, and am now working as Manager and Designer for the Bloomery Florist in Butler, PA.(www.bloomery.com) I do a considerable amount of euro-design, hand tied bridal work, consults and special event design planning. I love the challenge of the creative design process, and strongly believe in educating, inspiring and mentoring other florists to bring their design work up to the next level. I look forward to networking with you and promoting the field of floral design artistry.....

My wife Kathie (she was the last one called to the stage) was inducted along with you in Palm Desert.
"Floral Design Artistry", I like that.
I believe (and I am not a Floral Artist by any stretch) the Artistry in floral design needs to be spoken of and written about more. That's what sets you apart from the vase stuffer.
