Just a few questions, Do either of you design flowers or do you employ staff to do that part of the business?? What made you leave your previous professions to buy a flower shop??

Lori, Victoria - Both my wife and I both had enough of the corporate life and decided that we'd buy a business instead of a house, and my wife did have some job experience working for a couple of different florists. She designs, I don't, but my design eye has really developed, and I do all the shopping. We inherited a wonderful staff who know exactly what our customers want before they even get out of their cars so we're very blessed.

Cathy - I've spoken to Mary before and she was very helpful! I'm aware of your husband's school and your shop but never had the chance to stop by, though I would love to. My mom works right there at St College and Orangewood and I know that her whole office goes there when they need flowers! Apparently her son's store is too far
