Hi to everyone.

I am new to FlowerChat.

Have been a floral designer for 9 years for a major florist in the
South End of Salt Lake Valley

In January, I left my employment there (we are still great friends)
and purchased a fledgling flower shop in a nearby community.

My intent is to grow the shop and become a big part of my community.
I plan on being wire service free.

My shop is 1500 square feet, located in a business district. The previous owners started with a great idea, but had a difficult time making it work.

I have a 12' X 15' walk in cooler with display glass doors, and have changed the shop quite a bit in the 3 months since I bought it.

Do you have a website? Did you change the name of your shop after you bought it?

The previous owners did not have a website.

Our website is currently being put together through SunFlower Technologies, but is not up and running yet.

Yes, we are changing the name of the shop, and when our new signage is installed (which is supposed to be May3rd--if they don't delay me again)
our new name will take effect.

Welcome, make sure you trademark that name so you don't run into future problems....Costs $325 at www.uspto.gov or do it through a lawyer if you're not sure, but will cost you at least $600 or so. If you have any questions, don't forget to PM, always love to help anyone out :dearbob:

welcome!
:)

As above I add my welcome to this really great community.
