He wants the Thinking of You Bouquet for $40 total (FTD has it at $49.95) I said no, $50 plus delivery. He says ok - first suspicious move. Blocked number on caller ID, unless Canada doesn't come up, but I think they do.

Tried to place a phone order with us called himself Pink Blossoms Florist in Vancouver BC - code doesn't come up - I started to set them up and it's a ZA FTD code - I asked "sending only?" and he said yes.

Well I don't take orders from sending only shops - he sez "are you serious?"

"Definately serious."

Calling FTD right now - they have never heard of them.

I am suspicious of the Samani crowd when it comes from Vancouver.

Glad I caught it before my employee took it.

Maybe it's just me.

Wait I was wrong they are in Surrey (where's that Fronkie?) And they are a "legitimate" FTD SFO.

Still glad I didn't take it.

Vancouver = Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, New Westminster, White Rock, Richmond, Delta, Ladner, Langley, Cloverdale, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Surrey.

Don't think I forgot any of the 'burbs, but this is just off the top of my head.

Are these the guys? http://www.pinklotusflorist.com/content.asp?cpid=1

Google PPCs for the last few days. FTD should know about them since there's a logo on the site.

The domain is behind a Go Daddy proxy.

A sampling of some of the the text makes a dead-ringer match for e-floristinc.com which was a dead-ringer match for one of Somali's old sites when it first came out, too.

BTW, JB - Your posts are really buggin' me. ;) How'd you get that critter?

You're buggin' me

I can't concentrate on your posts because of that darn bug. Jon, you have way too much time on your hands. You are a master at messing with people's minds.

Can you send me instructions on something similar for me to use?

Back on the subject....

Seems that this is indeed Vancouver reinvented...poor wording and all. When e-floristinc.com went live, it went from ZERO orders to more than 1000 a week in less than 3-4 months according to my sources.

If in fact this is the same folks, perhaps they are having issues with TF, like non-payment or have been cut off a bit and found it necessary to move to FTD...maybe they'll feed on each other and both go away.
