Sorry Joe,
I can't see any brides rushing in to book their weddings with that add. I think brides today are more fashion forward than going back to the look of their ancestors.
If you are already running that add I hope for your sake I am wrong but there is no way I see myself doing those old fashioned bouquets anytime soon.

Shannon, we - well not me - were doing some basement cleaning yesterday and the cleaners found this brochure that my mom and dad used back then.
There are some really groovy pictures of a bride and groom and pics of bridesmaids.
It is interesting to read the text and then read some of the text in today's brochures. The words are the same.

I love the old books - wish I had kept them from the shop where I worked in '93 when they closed - they had all the 80's looks. It would make a fun retrospective wedding album.
I loved cleaning out my grandparents' basement - they had hand written financial ledgers from the 30's-70's. The older books had such beautiful handwriting - it was a really interesting thing to look through.

p.s. and proud to say I never owned a leisure suit. When they were in style I was wearing navy blue sport coats and navy blue neck ties.
