No OG"s in Teleflora ??

Met with my Teleflora rep the other day. I really didn't expect her to do anything, just a chance for me to vent. I told her Teleflora did Nothing for me, that they are killing the industry. (Among others) That they need to kick out ALL of the OG. scum. Her response: "There are only 2 OG that are Teleflora Members." WHAT!!!!
I'm composing a list for her. Anyone care to submit names?

A BIG sender in TF who in their first two months of operation went from zero orders to 100 per day...this site is associated with the old Urban Florist in some way...same phone number, same webmaster...

TF has continually denied it's an OG, but other Real Florists have confirmed via phone calls and address verifications....

Well at least you got her to admit that Teleflora participates in undermining the Florist/WS partnership.

Just off the top of my head. You would know better than I if they are or aren't !
From You Flowers, Saybrook CT. ( How many orders have I seen that weren't just shaved, they were buzz cutted ? )

Some thing has changed here... I'd hold off on the link I posted, it has morphed from an online Ecom site to a directory of sorts...

e-floristinc.com is a placeholder page for a domain for sale. You're looking for e-florist-inc.com.

The rep might be excluding OGs that have flower shops. IMO, if the shop, location, etc. isn't identified on the OG site or the information is deeply buried or the site is filled with doorway pages or it purports to 'deliver to' or 'serve' every town - having a B&M is meaningless.

Tell your Rep, this Teleflora shop XYZ, represents themselves as delivering in my town....Plain and simple, they are an order gatherer......
Those who say "Our network of florists"...are just as bad because it purports that that entity has their own satellite store in your town.
I do not say my shop delivers anywhere except my three home towns....I am NOT an order gatherer.

And includes some companies that we are monitoring for the purpose of a feature in our April issue concerning phoney listings/heavy levels of skimming, mis-representation etc etc.

This is one of the big problems of directories ... I guess they get paid on click throughs or something - another area of Internet technology I have to learn!

The whole thing is becoming a joke and if the sun wasn't shining over here I could get seriously depressed!

Thanks everyone. Keep it coming. I know there are about a BAH-ZILLION out there. Really, I'm still laughing at her statement (only 2). How insulting! And yes she actually wanted me to buy more crap!! AHHH let me think hmmmmmm NO!

For working with such beautiful things, this business sure has gotten ugly.

Having all the new boxes received the last few weeks brought up from the storage areas and will be sending it all back early next week.
They've been pushing it hard.

Ugly is right, but this is only the beginning.
A close friend just called and wanted to know where I got the information
on the S.E.C. filing.
Don't know why she bothered to ask as I say nothing, ever !
Asked her why she was asking and she said that she heard a conversation
about some negative WS comments I had been making re: SEC filing etc...
Hmmmmmmmm guess some of the two legged Rats know how to read the posts on FC cause I haven't said anything, anywhere else !

I just cancelled Teleflora today. The main reason was all the orders I received from the OG's - especially from "From you flowers ". I get their orders, most the time have to call them back for more money or delivery charge and at the end of the month I get 2 or 3 notes saying we didn't deliver or they weren't happy with the arrangement. I had one back in October that I got again claiming that I didn't deliver. We already confirmed delivery last October. I know I shouldn't have taken them in the first place.
Sorry for the venting.
