my husband a year ago about this time decided to quit a job and go free lance his field. AFTER doing that for 10 months (and it not going well) he was offered a job with a company in a related field doing sales and demos of the equipment. He started there last week.. today he calls me and wants to quit... he hates it.....

I am a bit frustrated with him. ... At 43 its a bit late now to decide to keep changing jobs!

just complaining!
 
And we stay in this job, WHY???--because we LOVE It!!
Hard, very hard to do something you hate--(at least to do it well!)

Suggest to him that if, as he says, he's not happy, look for another and differrent job before quitting his latest. Finding employment in this economy is difficult, regardless of who you are. And, you never know, if he hangs in with his present job he might start to see various up-sides to it as he looks elsewhere.

yes and that is where he is at 2 weeks into it he is hating it.. problem being the company head hunted him and wanted him to demo and sell their equipment BUT they don't have any idea how to get him started....

I have very bluntly told him he needs to find other work then or look at re training for a different field.!

we will be fine.. thats what a rainy day savings account is for right?? i just wish we hadn't use a large part of it to buy a new used car to get him to this job .... sigh
