Not taking F2F

Luc, got an odd call today. A florist in Burlington called us to see if we delivered to Elliot Lake. She says she called you and you refused to take her credit card because she's an FTD florist?

I know you're miffed with FTD, but tell me it ain't so!

SHe must have said something different because I would have not said no to a F2F order. In fact, I have several orders today from FTD Florists, that we took orders from. I will have a talk with my staff and clarify things tomorrow.
Is the florist call Millocet or something like that? I had one of my staff asking me if it was alright ot receive a order from them?
What did you tell them?
My beef is with FTD, not a hard working florist.

Here lays....

a huge problem.......when people like Luc get a little overzealous, and openly state to their staff that his shop WILL NOT accept FTD orders, and during the chaos of holiday pressures, it translates into "I Don't Accept orders from FTD", and this problem is created.
WE KNOW what Luc means, but, his staff will NEVER UNDERSTAND HIS REASONING, and thus, another potential real florist to florist order relationship is destroyed.

From them or me? If me, I didn't have time to call you, we were busy as h*ll. I had all my lines ringing and only me on the phones, Gudrun was with a customer and so I typed out the question here while I waited for a customer to find her VISA card in her purse. That was as close to a courtesy call as I had time to give you.

All I can tell you is what they told me - that they called and asked if we delivered to Elliot Lake. I explained that we did not since you're three hours away both directions. I suggested you and they said had called you but that your shop refused the order as a credit card order because you were FTD. I told them I couldn't help them.

Will talk to my staff this morning so this does not happen.
However I find it interesting that the other flower shop did not take that order>?
Blind River has a FTD shop now....
WHy would she pick Sault Ste Marie?
I am just wondering if it is a real florist in Burlington or someone from FTD trying ot get their retrans order delivered?
Sounds fishy to me allof a sudden. I could be wrong, but will talk to my staff just in case.
