Are you serious? How did it happen? I wonder if it was drug related, he always seemed to have too much non-stop energy.

apparently, he was in a plane. It had a rough landing and something hit him on the head. He seemed ok, but went home told his wife that night he didn't feel good, went to sleep and died.
At least that's what I read.

Sounds like he had a rough landing on an airplane flight and got hit in the head by things falling from the overhead compartment, didn't feel well later and just went to bed. The next day his wife found him dead. But, it could have been another cause.

Thanks for the info. What a sad story.

He was so ridiculous that I couldn't help but watch his commercials. What a pitchman he was.

He drove me CRAZY.

I just wanted him to speak in a normal voice AND S T O P SHOUTING!!!

He was highly annoying. And abrasive. And I wanted to shoot him with a tranquilizer gun.

But I am sad that he died.

Wonder if they will bury him in his blue shirt?

They should do his eulogy like he did his commercials...

"Here lies a man who shouted so loud, that he was heard in the heavens and beyond...and for 19.95 the pallbearers will deliver a bucket of kaboom/oxyclean/to your car...be sure and pick up your Hercules Hooks as you leave the memorial service...May he glow with the glory of Orange Glo for all eternity....Amen!!!!"

American Airlines... front tires blew out on landing....

subdural hematoma - any knock on the head should seek physician's advice. This is the second case of someone being "okay" after such a head bump who died within hours....sad but true...

I loved Billy Mays

Goodbye and rest in peace dear Billy, the only man who could arrouse me from my sleep night after night with passionate pleas of "now watch THIS" and "if you act NOW", his eyes twinkled and I knew he was hot for his product. That passion is something I will miss in the wee hours of the morning after leaving the TV on all night. There is a hole in my heart where streaky film and stubborn stains will now reside. p
