I would never post this on the other board cause I'd get flamed but...
I sent an order out for christmas centerpiece $40 (Virginia). The shops minimums were $25.00. Got an ask in for $50 stating .."minimum is $50 please send price change confirmation". Customer has already paid and gone, I'm not going to call them for more $$$$ retired and on fixed income.
So I pull up the lists of shops, find one in close proximity and call their 800# to ask if they will fill....they happily answer "of course". Thanks I say, I will dove it to you. Did....done my part.
Next is a rejected order for $45.00 (minimum was $30)...want $50...I sent cancel back to them telling them "too much"...get back confirm "SORRY".
Call another shop and ask if they can fill this generic order for $45...Sure we can....
Those original orders were sent FTD....the two responding shops got dove orders. I'm out of Teleflora come January but I'm keeping my book handy.
As someone had said on the other board, they couldn't send a poinsettia for $40??? by CC??? Some of these florists have got to come down to earth.
And with a week to go, my customers will probably take a beating if they want to order out of town-maybe I'll just give them the phone numbers instead. Thank goodness it's almost over.
Even better laugh?? Got my Teleflora statement today...shows received orders 8 sent 0......hmm weird, I know I sent orders out but even better still?
The last page says "Congratulations, you're entered in the $10,000 giveaway" (the one where you have to send more this year than last?)
hmmmmmmmmm Sorry for the rant.....
