Greetings from the Outerbanks of North Carolina.
My name is John and I'm here as OBXflowerman.
I manage The Flower Gallery in Kill Devil Hills and we are just completeing our first fiscal year of operation. Wow,what a great year of meeting new customers and getting the ball rolling for future success.
I first started in the floral industry as an after school delivery boy in very small town. I got my drivers license in the shop station wagon,and shortly thereafter made my first arrangement,well remade someone elses arrangement,after taking a hump in the road too fast and having all the roses jump jump out of the vase. So it was in that staton wagon I made my first rose arrangement.
I have worked in the industry as a wholesale flower truck driver, and at several retail shops during my time in and out of the flower industry.
I've been lurking here at Flower Chat for a while,and enjoy everyones playful banter even when they dissagree with each other,for the most part everyone is very respectful of each other.
Other than managing the shop, well, its just me and one other person, so we both take care of all the duties, I'm a roller coaster enthusiast who travels as often as possible to ride the rails of the country's newest coasters.
