The latest report on the most dangerous cities in the US came out yesterday...

Oddly enough St Louis topped the list followed by Detroit...Number 1 playing number 2....Hmmmm

Flint MI was number 3, bout an hour away from me...my what a difference an hour makes :ar15

flawed report

hey boss!

according to st louis city officials the report is seriously flawed. it doesn't take into account the metropolitan area of st louis county-- only a few square miles of st louis city proper. most cities the report compares to takes in the metropolitan area of that city.

st louis is really a cool place-- come visit!! (how bout them cards!!)

That's the problem with statics. You have to look beyond the mere numbers in order to have a clue about what they really mean. They can be skewed to show anything. Remember the old Cold War era joke about the Russian newspaper account of a race in which the Russian car finished in second place and the US car came in next to last?? What the newspaper failed to report was that there were only two cars in the race.
