Also.....
BBJ "TRIED" to get a picture of as many attendees as possible on the "staircase" photo (what a great idea), and we probably got as many as HALF of all the attendees to participate in the photo shoot.
I never realized how many people are literally claustrophobic in tight spaces....

Hugh (ROCK) and Janie....
were pretty exhausted by the time the weekend was over...actually we ALL were, and it didn't help that they had to hang around the conference centre waiting for us to finish our early wrapup discussion.
It was dark when they and Sandie, and Mikey left the Fallsview, and were VERY GRACIOUS in taking us out for a nice dinner in Dundas afterwards.
Janie brought us some spiffy Newfoundland stuff, and I'm not sure if we REALLY SHOWED our appreciation......we were all pretty sleepy.
As it turns out, Monday was a pretty busy day, and they were both very reluctant to spend much time in our shop, so, kinda hung out on their own!
Janie insisted on taking home some good ol' Ontario perennial plants, so we wound up at a local rural seed/catalogue shop, and she proceeded to buy the place out...ROCK was "leaning" carrying out all the loot!!
All in all....ALL the feedback from the OFC 2004 was positive..the conference DOUBLED in size in ONE YEAR, and it "may" double again for NEXT YEAR!!

Jane and I had a great time. It was exhausting since we got up 3 am Friday morning to go to the airport to catch "Canjet's 6 hour Eastern Canadian Tour" to Hamilton and didn't stop til we got home 1:30 Tuesday morning! We didn't mind waiting a few minutes while you guys had a brief meeting to wrap up. We enjoyed Your and Sandie's hospitality at your beautiful house and wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to the Rock and reality! Got some great ideas from your store in planning our new store (next year, hopefully) and took a walk around Dundas business area and did a bit of shopping too while you guys were busy (that's always good). Jane says A MILLION THANKS for taking her to Wm Dams to get her seeds; she now has EVERY PERENNIAL growing on planet Earth, except for some funny flower growing on Everest!
We just gotta say how much we enjoyed that area of Ontario; Niagara On The Lake which we drove around Friday and the areas around Dundas where you drove us on Monday are easily the most beautiful parts of your province that we have visited; wish we had more time.
The hospitality of everyone was great; enjoyed meeting new friends, old friends and others we only spoke to on the phone or those we met on the board - great to put a face on everyone. The OFC was well organized very informative and a good mix of business and pleasure; you never know , we might turn up next year.
