Mrs Rock (Jane :) ) and I are coming to OFC end of Oct and have some time on Friday and Monday to do a little sight seeing and we're wondering if anyone has any suggestions. We'll see a nighttime Niagara Falls which will be new since we've only been there during daytime, Jane wants to see the butterfly conservatory, she's interested in Nurseries that specialize in perennials (probably have to ship them back!) also. Mike and Sandie have graciously invited us back to their place Sunday night/Monday to spend a little time with them; we're looking forward to seeing their shop.
It will be great seeing those of you we met last year and many more for the first time and be able to put a face to all these names. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hugh the Butterfly Conservatory is really cool. :) Niagara-on-the-Lake is a jewel not to be missed... so many things to see. Lots and lots of vineyards and winerys.

My suggestions

Queenston Heights: Brock's monument
Queenston: Brock's Cenotaph
Niagara on the Lake(NOTL) Museum
NOTL: Fort George if it is still open.
NOTL: Doing the stroll on both sides of the street
Niagara Parkway: The pleasant drive between Niagara Falls and NOTL.
Niagara Parkway: The Botanical Garden
Niagara Falls: The Conservatory a must for plant lovers.
Niagara Falls: Do The Wax musem just for a laugh.

Thanks V, Mom's brother lives in Niagara on the Lake so we're heading there Friday; hopefully we won't get lost in the Vineyards :) That strip where the Wax Museum is makes me cring; must be the tackiest place in Canada.
Hey Doug, after all this political talk, I'm including Brock's monument and Fort George on our list!
Rock on......

We just took a couple of days this summer and went to Niagra Falls. We do regularly. You might be pleasantly surprised how it has changed. Take another look just for fun.

I hope to meet alot of you from this board at the conference.

See you there,
