Did Thorton want Jian Ghomeshi to spar with him? IMO, Ghomeshi did an admirable, professional job during a most uncomfortable interview.....

Perhaps the main prob Thorton had was that he couldn't smoke wherever he wanted to?

It did'nt seemed pre-planned for attention to me. But, I think Billy Bob knows exactly what he is doing-getting massive attention for being a butthead. I get that he wants to remove his acting fame from the band stuff and I just think he is eccentric and that maybe he has smoked so many cigs that parts of his brain are like beef jerky now. I almost feel sorry for him, but yet, I don't. He's just ticked off that he'll never be truely cool like Johnny Cash. Why do actors always want to be singers too? And vice versa?
 
They can be both... they don't have to choose to be boorish in their behaviours. I have always like Billy Bob and have enjoyed his talent, but now... not a dime from me.

Bloomz, I don't understand all this. It's killing me, I mean why would one of the most talented actors in the world act this way? Why is he so against talking about his acting career?

Hey don't talk about my Joaquin!! I think he's just having a hard time...maybe an early mid-life crisis?? It's gotta be that since he's decided to look like a mountain man. He's making a statement....F beauty! Yeah that's it!
 
Personally I think they believe the hype in their own press. They're both ridiculous.
