What a rant! Love it! Says it all. How many times I slammed the phone down on a salesperson I couldn't understand--let alone a idiot trying to imitate a customer service rep. When is the planet gonna wise up???WTF???

Wow that was entertaining.

BTW - his blog has WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY better smilies than we do - scroll all the way to the bottom. I like the big fat naked lady smiley -she looks familiar

Funnier than all he-ll

Love it - thanks

The comments below are some beauts too:

From now on I'm going with Edible Arrangements or Amazon gift cards.

Floral industry lost another purchaser. Wasn't Heather discussing this a while back?

What a candidate for FloristDetective.

If not for the enjoyable verbage I'd link to it in a sescond.

love, love love it!!!!!

I feel this way almost everytime I get a cs agent in another country...they are mostly useless.

That has just had me spluttering with laughter, loved the paraphrasing. My favourite was his ending..

Of course, only if by "boggles", I mean "makes me want to" and by "the mind" I mean "stab myself repeatedly in the face."

lol lol lol

Not surprised, one iota! 800FL also announced in their quarterly results on Jan. 29 that they are cutting 10% employees, and hiring more home agents. So this will only get worse.

BTW, in that story, the c/s rep said it was a holiday in Canada on Feb. 17. I was a "landed immigrant" there for three years before coming back to the US, and don't remember a holiday then. LMAO.

Why would they lie and tell the guy that the local florist won't answer the phone and then turn around and say they tried to FEDEX or UPS and thats why it did'nt work? They have put the blame on three separate companies, A supposed Local florist, FEDEX and UPS. Apparently it was those companies that screwed up and not 1800.
And now the guy will be sending giftcards or Edible arrangements. Great. Did I also read that the blogger linked to 1800? If so, now he is sort of promoting them with a link from his site to thiers. Not very well thought out. It was entertaining but the pic of Hitler on his blog gave me the creeps.

I thought it was amusing, swear words do not offend me, but something about his site freezes up my computer :(

Rhonda -

I tend to bookmark consumer complaint blog posts about flowers in my Reader. Some, I do highlight here for other FC members, although I have been scolded in the past that bringing these kinds of posts to FC is just too negative.

That one was fairly raunchy (yet hilarious). Most are garden-variety tales of getting run-arounds with Customer Service.

Have you guys seen the V Day complaints from Complaints Board? There are so many complaints about floral services that the site created a category called "Flowers Delivery".

Oh Robin, look at that awesome logo you have!! It's new??? Can we see a bigger image of it? Wow!
