Unfortunately, their sterotypes ring true, a little. Fun stuff - I will watch if for no other reason than to kvetch with my other jersey girls about how awful some of us are.

Too funny!!! I guess with the Sopranos off the air, and the success of the Real Housewives series, it's a natural marriage.

Hopefully they will never do a real housewives of Chicago...I get flashes of the old SNL skit with Coach Ditka and Chris Farley (Da Bears)...only wiht sparlky blue eye shadow and Mom jeans...YIKES!!!!!!!!

I have a feeling the Jersey and the Chicago housewives would share a lot of similarities! lol They should do a Milwaukee one; the world would be surprised how many overdone pretentious people with $ we have here too!

last night was a "preview" of the show - watched about 30 minutes and gave up. Maybe I was bored cuz I'm all too familiar with their brand of attitude - observing the aliens from the NY housewives / OC Housewives is way more fascinating to me.

I love to watch Ramona, her reactions are priceless, especially when she's trying to NOT show her reactions.
 
I know, Tracy, wasn't that so funny when Simon walked in and they showed her non-reaction. I was cracking up!! I was thinking,"Oh yeah great under pressure and keeping her cool" and then when Jill said she was unstatisfied since she didn't get a reaction out of Ramona....I was like WHAT? Where were you?!!

I CAN NOT stand that Kelly chick even more than I can't stand the Countess. Etiquette...HA!
 
I totally agree about that Kelly @@@@@!!! She is pathalogical! I didn't realize until after Bethenny said it, but Kelly is quite the name dropper celebrity wannabe...yuck! She makes Tammy from OC seem sincere! I wanted to reach though the screen and slap her when she "told off" Bethenny at that bar...right before her high class booty call.

I watched a few minutes of the Jersey Housewives. It was like I was watching a spinoff of the Sopranos...or at least their home lives. I think Bravo's goal is to actually have bloodshed on of these seasons...and this just may be the season.

I am glad I'm not trash watching alone!

Don't you love that for as uppity as the Countess is, her husband dumped her via email. Where is that chapter going to be in her manners book!?!?! She gets to keep the title, @@@@it...I thought it would be fun to watch her having to go back to her humble roots.
 
Amy I did not hear that scoop on the dis-countess as Bethenny calls her. Whoa! and that whole scene with the girls was cringe-inducing.

Those Joisey girls killed me.
That blond one was on a wedding show - not platinum weddings but something similar, I wanted to see if it was the same husband or a new one.

I will be watching! I love trainwrecks.
