From the shape of the leaves I am going to say it is in the begonia family..
 
That looks an awful lot like Spirea (spelling?) but I don't remember a particular variety with those gorgeous red/burgandy leaves.

Hey, Dazeal -- this is fun. Maybe you should set it up as a continuing game thread. Whoever guesses correctly posts the next photo. (Which might mean that I would finally learn how to post pics.)
 
Ctherose wins, it's Ninebark and very popular in Europe and my shop. :) The foliage comes in many other colors and a lot of the time, we just use the foliage. :)
