Teleflora has Grandparents day last Sunday.
Hallmark has in their promotion thisup comming Sunday.
A few other calandars have them also for this up comming Sunday?

So do we have two Grandparents Day?????

In my humble opinion it should been last weekend. SAF promoted Grandparents Day as last weekend as did every other W.S. Far as I know we only have 1 Grandparents Day.

Its a non entity down here so its a mute point.

Internet says...

Sept. 7th. I did a search and every website regarding Grandparent's Day said Sept. 7th. Came and went and I never knew it. Always a non-holiday here - except for an occasional balloon that says I love you grandma/grandpa, which we stock as an everyday item.

Moot Point here. in about 8 years had 2 orders. Tis almost as bad a waste as the "Mother In Law's Day"

According to www.hallmark.com, Grandparent's Day is always the first Sunday after Labor Day (which was Sep 7 this year).

For another really good site about holidays, check out www.holidays.net. They list holiday dates even into the next year and there are also some great e-cards!

Grand who? Mother what? What is the next great non-holiday? Will it be something like, Great Grandmothers-in-law Day??? You know, where she's too old to remember that most didn't like her in the first place:)(

Goodness, did we get up on the wrong side of the pickle jar today? lol

I think we should have a National Sanitation Workers Day. We need to formally pay tribute to all those hard-working souls who deal with all the poop and garbage in the world. On that day, we could all flush the toilets at midnight...a nationwide flush!

Let's make that North American wide Christine...hmmm...on second thought....could provoke another blackout by flooding the grids again. ;)

Here we ask "who peed in your cornflakes this morning?" ;)

Were the Daughters-in-law angry because of the USED to be factor? I always figured Mothers-in-law would be included in Mother's day...
