? on sumerged dendros

Have a bride who wants a single stem of dendro submerged in a cylinder vase. Do I have to weigh the orchid with something or will the weight of the water do the trick?


I may get labeled as a FWOAC here, but I have never done this without marbles and don't have any dendros to experiment with!!

Could you get a cylinder vase that just fitted the orchid and no more, so that it sort of "gripped" the side of the vase and wouldn't move?

Unless you have a tight enough container with floating candles on top, you will need something to weigh it down. Marbles work great for dendros, but if the bride doesn't want that you can use anything. I have taken a large river rock and used decorative wire to secure it to the rock.
