I am not sure whether to post this here or in the jokes section.
I received a phone call from FTD asking me to fill an order. The FTD rep asked me if I could do FTD xx-xxx. I said wait, let me look it up on FTD.com.
Looked at it, posted price on the website reads $49.99. FTD rep gives me a price of $47.98. I ask her why she is shorting me $2.00, she says because "we can". I say "no you can't" She says "wait and let me see what I can do". Puts me on hold, comes back and says yes we can add the extra $2.00. She then proceeds to tell me that I should have asked for an extra $5.00.
I say from now on if you call me it is going to cost FTD an extra $10.00.
This conversation was in no way adversarial, rather jovial!
I get off the phone, and all of a sudden, I remember that FTD called me at my main store which is no longer an FTD memeber. I can't believe that I forgot to tell her that. The branch store is still an FTD member and it will be processed through that FTD membership.
