When did Napolean retire?

Curious as to when did Napolean retire , and what did your Grandparents replace him with?

Not sure when the old boy went to pasture. That was a bit before my time :)

I think he was replaced with a Buick ... somewhere we've got a picture of an old one out by the greenhouse.

Cool Pictures

Way cool pics. We wish we were so lucky. No pictures of the past for us, a few books, some devices that look straight out of the Spanish Inquisition - you're soooo lucky.

what a heritage you have, ryan....something to hold on to....napoleon reminds me of the horse that used to bring milk down our street when i was a kid....oops....dating myself now...o well...

Never mind THAT....

I rode the LAST horse delivered bread wagon back in the late fifties, AND was on that old horse's VERY LAST run before it was retired, STILL DELIVERING bread every day, and knew which house to stop at EACH and EVERY TIME without prodding.
It was THEN I realized how much an OLD HORSE is much smarter than a YOUNG TEENAGER!!
GREAT pics Ryan....I've got pictures of THIS old shop, UNDER water after the great floods of '49.

more nauaea-stalgia

hey mikey....remember the ice trucks that used to come around all summer.....huge blocks of ice sitting on a clean bed of sawdust and we would chase it down the street to get a big hunk.....there were no video games.....we hardly had t.v.....used to watch....leave it to beaver....maggie muggins.....roy rogers....gene autry.....and buffalo bob and his goofy puppet.....
