After a few of these discussions, I had dinner with a reporter friend of mine, and we had a discussion on Value. We started talking about "stories" and she is trying to get approval to order flowers from every florist in her town, and comparing value. I told her to spend $50, and ask for a Fall arrangement, designers choice. I thought this would be interesting for all of us Flower Chatters, so how about posting a photo of what you would do for a customer that called and ordered this. I think it would be interesting, but it would also help her out getting this story if she had some photos to show her boss. Thanks! I will be posting mine on Tuesday.

I did that earlier this year. I was surprised by the difference in arrangements.
The most shocking was a vase stuffed with flowers, no design, and dead flowers. I was careful and had my son order the flowers. I didn't know if anyone had caller ID.
