Just noticed this fee for $19.95 on my TF statement this month. When I called my rep about it, he said it's nothing new. He explained if you send 20 orders out per month, you won't get it. We've been sending mostly FTD because FTD sends us more--also there are only two FTD shops in my town compared to 5 for TF. He's changing the way we're billed, but don't think he's removing the charge. :treadonme

Flowersmith,
We were TF & FTD and presently only FTD since Oct 03; we never paid this fee to either; I'd fire them!

Just tell them that if they don't remove the fee, you will quit. I had that with both TF and FTD. I refused to pay their stupid taxes. The only one that could not get rid of was FTD's Quality Ass' urance fee, so I kicked them to the curb.

Don't let them hold you hostage

Just go over your rep's head and ask for his boss at HQ, these guys don't like to be pestered and normally you can get your problem resolved in short order, like in the good ole days at FTD when Bill was there , eh Bill?

Your rep is right. This fee is nothing new. I remember having to add a feature to flowerSoft many years ago that helped you track how many orders you had given to each wire service and what the minimum number you had to send was. I think there is also a reciprocity ratio. Something like 7 to 1 comes to mind. In other words, you had to send at least 1 for every 7 you received or something like that.

I would love to have only one wire service, but I have Daisy. Sort of ties me to TF doesn't it?? Wonder if they would let me continue paying the maintenance fee for tech support. I'm currently processing credit cards thru TF also.

You said you send with FTD because they send more orders your way ... I hope there's a better reason to belong to a wire service than that. Belong to a service to GET discounted orders is a dead-end game and takes money OUT of your pocket, and into theirs.
