No credit taken here. In fact everything here is because of my wife. All I am doing is helping her promote her work.

The parakeet is the two orange fork looking flowers in the center. Its in the heliconia family.

The helconia pictured is Psittacorum Fire Opal and should be available through most wholesalers

Thank you both - I was familiar with Fire Opal , but didn't connect it with parakeet flower.

What Rich says...however...I think the bauble in the front section of the rag ( page 16)would be more appropriate than a day off.....I mean really Rich, get with the program! !!!!! Love baubles!~
