While reading threads, I have noticed many other talents/businesses represented. Maybe this would be another networking opportunity for us. For example, I am weak in computer skills but I have learned so much from the posts on this board. One member has mentioned expertise in building brochures, one member advertises reminder postcards, one claims engineering skills, and so on.

For my part, my other business is a trophy and engraving shop celebrating 30 years this year. So if anyone needs nametags or plaques - just let me know!

Would anyone else like to post additional talents??

I see from another post that you've discovered my web services company, www.rkfdomains.com. The goal with RKFdomains is to keep the retail price for web services as close to wholesale cost as my contract allows, so that FlowerChat customers can enjoy fair prices and avoid being gouged by some less than honest service providers. The only advertising we do for RKFdomains is funding FlowerChat

While some know and some do not, I have started to provide florists wanting an independent website an affordable platform. This has Admin Panel that allows non-techie florists to make all changes/additions/deletions (product, catagories, About, etc.) themselves and not depend on anybody else that might charge $50-$100 monthly fee AND a $1.75-$2.95 fee per order. This website platform is cheaper that anything else on the market (except maybe Brian's... as we have a boat load more features). Next month we will have available 4 different templates with 5 color options each. Besides a standard floral website, we now have a dedicated floral sympathy website (www.mcadamsfuneralflorist.com) and we are designing a dedicated foral wedding website. I will stop now, any more might be considered a Business Service Internet post .....but as a response to this thread, this is what other business I represent. I was a floral designer and shop manager for almost 20 years, now turned industry journalist. I also have experience in newsletter publishing, marketing and graphics ... so if anyone needs help designing or writing a newsletter or other promotional products let me know. I could also write up your memoirs or edit your novel about murder and mayhem at the flower shop...
