We have had a flower shop ( I use the term loosely) next door to us for nine years.

Three owners in that time.

The current lady copies everything we put on our sandwhich board sign. She copies it exactly, wording, phrases, prices.

Except for today.

We have a notice on our sign for memorial wreaths for "All Soul's Day"

Her sign reads "All Souts Day" lost in translation from Persian to English.

We are going around "Bless my Sout"

Thought you would like this one.

I will try to snap a photo and post it later.

Do you Canadian's celebrate this holiday??

Is it a certain religion that does??

I know it is a huge holiday in Mexico?

I also know a haitian man that says it is a real holiday in Haiti.

I am Catholic and never heard a lick about it other than in Mexico...

Natives in my area celebrate that days as ALL SAINTS DAY! Nov. 1
Our country is so diverse with religions that many little groups celebrate the way they are suppose to be when itis suppose to happen.

From a Church Calendar in our basement

Nov. 01 All Saint's Day
Nov. 02 is All Soul's Day

All Saint's Day, Catholics here go the the graves. There are traffic jams around them.

I think All Souls is more Anglican (Episcopalian)

Many years ago I was United Church of Canada so I don't have a clue.

Most secular Canadians seem to by their wreaths from us near Nov. 11 Remembrance Day.
