Lack of time prohibited a detailed look at your site, but what I saw in a quick look was absolutely beautiful.

Very impressive. I love the butterfly.

There's a typo on in the bottom left corner "Deilveries are limited within Cebu only". In categories, it says 'boquets' not 'bouquets'. There should be no comma in this sentence "Behind the shop’s growth, is a dynamic and creative family deeply sensitive " on the About Us page.

That's all I've found so far.

Andee,

I'm sure you will tweak the little problems in your site. I was surprised that I could not click on "details" to get a description of the arrangement I was looking at. This occured on every arrangement I looked at. I assume this needs to be addressed. I love that you have a pic (absolutely beautiful family) included in "About Us"! I think that is awesome and I believe customers are interested in seeing who they are dealing with. I will have to add this to our site-with a pic of the entire staff. The site is beautiful and I'm sure, a work in progress. I found your designs very interesting compared to the USA, especially some of your funeral tributes.

Thank you very much. We really appreciate the feedback. We were in a rush to launch the site before valentines so we may have overlooked a few things. Concerning the details, "details" there isnt meant to be a button but rather a heading for the descriptions below it. We just havent finished adding the descriptions for all the arrangements.hehe :)

People in Cebu dont usually send basket or vase arrangements as funeral tributes. They prefer big funeral stands with big long ribbons with their names on it

And that is a great thing - we try to encourage that here with our ribbon printer. People send flowers for recognition, and when your name is emblazoned across it like the stands in Cebu are - they want it to be big and impressive.

Tho the big congratulations arrangements (business openings get large easels to stand inside the doors) I have seen in Cebu at are at a very low cost compared with what you would pay here for similar. Those 3000 piso arrangements would here cost $150 or more.

Adding to this, the mechanics, which would be of interest to people here, are much more labor intensive. (short description - Andee could probably describe better - hand made wooden stand, backing [where we use foam] is a bunch of sword fern, not a bunch but a pack about 3-4" thick, with each individual stem in a small plastic bag on a bamboo stake inserted into the fern). Here we just plunk them into the foam, bara-bing, bara-boom.

I'm sure people on this board would be very interested in some photos of mechanics if you're ever so inclined Andee.

Hey Andee,
I'm with Bloomz on the sympathy mechanics! Would love to see some stage pictures on your sprays.
A total different look from what we are used to here in the states. That is something I would like to bring into my area. I have a large Philippine population that I think would enjoy similar looks brought from their homeland! But when it slows down for ya!

Andee -

It's a beautiful site. Are the photos original designs from your store? They're very well done.

My one suggestion would be to add your store address and phone number on your home page. It's helpful to both shoppers and search engines.

Will you also have a version in Tagalog?

Love the musical boutonniere!

Yep its mostly all about recognition. The bigger the better and its always the same with every customer. "I want it to stand out", "I want it huge"

Unlike in Manila, where people are used to spending big, the Cebu market is a stingy one. Very stingy. Even the richest of Cebu expect to get something worth $100 with only $40.

Ribbon printers would be a great help as the ribbons are basically handwritten and very time consuming. I'm currently talking to someone from Elite Ribbon Printer to see if they could ship one of their models to the Philippines. Was thinking of buying from Fiorella but the price difference was just too big.

I could send pics but maybe later.:)

Something else that would be very amusing is a pic of a tricycle rickshaw loaded with easels - quite a sight!

Thanks! Yup they're our designs. Some designs were inspired by pics we saw in this site. The deco wire wristband is something we tried to recreate from one of the pics posted here.:)

The store address and contact numbers are placed in the "contact us" link but youre probably right about also putting it in the home page.

I doubt there'll be a need for a tagalog version since Filipinos can understand English. In fact, in Manila, socialites have this hybrid language - a cross between Tagalog and English which is called Taglish.

Thanks! My son designed our site. Some links are still unfinished though since we had to focus on more urgent things.

Could you post the link to your site so we can have a look.:)

Yo Andy

Where'd you get the bouquet images??

Did you folks shoot those yourselves?
