I agree Boss, if you dont mind sharing, how many americans have lost their lives in this war now? I think our count is up to 315 or very close. I was only thinking of this the other day.

Iraq 5582 since 2003
Afghanistan 1207 since 2001

And it appears that we will be sending troops to the Korea's in the not to distant future... I mean more than the 30,000 we already have on the ground in South Korea. It appears there's going to be a fist fight over that way sooner than later.

How many in the last couple of years since the "war" officially started? Just curious? There is talk of our troops coming out by 2014. I have a 19 year old cousin who thankfully come back safely in April. His squadron lost half of their men.. They were all awarded medals by Prince Charles and they got a fuss made of them as they were the first troop to have this happen to them.

His sister who now trains the soldiers went to iraq at the beginning of the conflict there.

Tragic very very tragic... I am moved to tears every time a mum is on the tv saying how proud she "was" of her son who died doing what he loved and serving his country.

The culture of today is all wrong, I have never looked up to another human being for superficial stuff.

I look up to them that take out their own time to help other people..
