We were at "Friday praise" at our local church last night, the vicar was using Valentines and love in his sermon "asking us how do we measure love" out came a tape measure..we measured the church"was it full of love?" we got a measuring jug could we fill that with love? so can you measure love?he kept asking the congregation. He SUMMED IT ALL UP WITH LOVE CANNOT BE MEASURED OR QUANTIFIED...
I SO WANTED TO RAISE MY HAND..and tell him love has a monetary value and can so be measured, the tight wads in my shop valued love at £5.00 while some valued love up to and beyond £100,and that Heather McCartney values /measures love at around 55million.We may not be able to measure love in a jug,but we can certainly count it in our pockets.
Glad i kept my hand down though....
