Hi flower-enthusiasts.
I am new to this site and very excited to be a part of the wealth of information. I opened my doors 5 years ago after returning to school (Rittners - Boston) for floral design. Prior to that, I have been a product designer for the past 14years, designing and manufacturing garden decor. I provide floral services for weddings and events only. I live in a small town that does not have the population to support a year-round florist shop. But come May thru October - the destination brides come pouring in. Our goal is to have a full schedule for our very short season. I have a very strong design background which is a tremendous help in this career. But, sometimes I have questions about flowers I am not too familar with. I hope that from time to time, my colleagues won't mind if I ask a question or two...
I look forward to getting to know you all out there.

Welcome to the community...

Whats the name of your current store...and do you have a web site?

Lovely website - thank you for posting more information about yourself. I understand it's sometimes intimidating, or a hassle to do so. Personally, I like to know a little more about our members before opening the doors wide open. I'm sure you'll find the site a great resource, as we all do!

welcome!

Hi Mary -
yes, the cape is beautiful but you know it can be a nightmare delivering flowers on a saturday -- change-over day. This summer is not as busy as I would like it to be although the fall is looking good. oh well, i have 6-year old twin boys and they are young only once. so if I'm not as busy as i want, my kids are a great opportunity.

Thank you for answering some questions. We really do like to take proper care of all who live here. ;)
