Hi, today I spoke to a customer who wanted an arrangement we did not have in stock. The delivery was very local and we offered a delivery for tomorrow or a sub arrangement. The customer said he would shop around. Later that day we received a call from Palm Harbor Florist asking us to deliver flowers today for the same customer. We again explained that we can do the order tomorrow or do something else today. They later sent me a wire order for tomorrows delivery. I still had the guys number and called him to confirm if he did in fact want a Thursday delivery, which he did not. He said he ordered through florist concierge and believed he was dealing with a local florist who guaranteed delivery today. If we had delivered it we would have got the blame and the complaint so I looked into the company. Palm Harbor Florist have taken over a series of websites which have been closed down http://www.flowersinfairyland.com/ is an example.
I am guessing they are advertising themselves as local through florist concierge http://www.floristconcierge.com/florida/clermont but they are not. Has anybody any experience with them. Thanks
