I post this because I switched to paste a few months back, partly due to nostalgic reasons, but I really like it better. I find it REAL hard to find paste at the store. There are 15 different types of gel to 1 type of paste.

Your fourth choice reminds of a line from some Tom Waites song. To paraphrase, he said he woke up one morning and his breath smelled like the inside of a dead Apache's loin cloth. I went with paste, by the way. Great poll, though.

Paste because my mom gives me 3 tubes a year in my stocking because she buys 20 of them when they are on sale for 89 cents!

If you don't like the gel you can always make your own home made paste!

I peroxide, then pre-rinse, then electric brush, four professional cleanings a year, can you tell I HATE the dentist!!

Lorrie, you should turn the tables on the dentists and make them hate you! This is the approach I use:

Eat a small bag of Cheetos in the lobby right before I go in and then put a lil rubber ball cement booger in my nose to bug the heck out of them while they look down at me. Also, keep winking at the dentist to make them feel uncomfortable. lol

efferdent is a tablet, you drop it in a glass of water, then drop your dentures in the water, and let the tablet dissolve, make the water fizzy.....like club soda is fizzy, and the next morning, the tablet is dissolved fully, the fizz is gone, and your teeth are clean.

Took some getting used to, but we cant use anything else.

After hubby's scare with Thyroid Cancer, we changed alot of our habits.

Organic toothpaste was one of many changes.
