Just found out today that Paul Schneider of Lakeshore Village Flowers passed away on July 12th of cancer. Paul was an active member on this board until shortly after the Ontario Conference in October when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Paul did sell his shop on June 30th to his designer Michael Holmes.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Michael and Paul's family.

Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about Paul. Thanks for letting us know John. Again, sympathies are sent to all those who know and love Paul.

Wow! Surprise I am. I talked with Paul several time at our Get together when we had them during the trade show.
My sympathy to Payl wife and family.
May god wrap his arms and comfort you at this time.

Paul was a gentleman and fine florist. He was a man who cared about his industry and was active in Flowers Canada for many years. True to his humble nature, Paul wanted the details of his passing and the service kept private.

He will be missed by all his friends and cohorts in the industry.

Paul's death

I never met Paul, but, we exchanged many emails over the years. He seemed to have a very dry sense of humor which I always enjoyed. We had a lot of laughs throughout our correspondence. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

Heartfelt sympathies to all of his family and friends. May God with His tender mercies, bring comfort and peace to their hearts.

Thanks John......

for eons, Paul has been active in the florist community, trying to establish a repore between the "values" of the "old" days, and the demands of the new days, and I CAN tell you, that as private and secretive he was about his personal life, he NEVER hesitated to speak up, when it came to the pitfalls and successes of the florist industry.
Paul and I spoke briefly about his illness last year...he knew his time was short even then!!
I'm really gonna miss him, I'm so happy that Michael decided to take over the shop!!
