I do not have any formal floral traning but I have a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Part of Temple University, majoring in Graphic Design. in the past I have been an Art Director of magazines and conventions in the Natural Foods Inductry. There I worked with a 4/C comsumer magazine similar to The Bon Apptite,of the natural Foods Industry, called Delicious!" Flowers wer ealways a large part of the photo designs.

I have more resently also worked in the Floral Industy for over 3 years as the Artistic Directer of a nationwide Ribbon Company. I was resently hired as the Creative Director of Morex. Corp. helping them branch out into the Floral Retail Market.
4. I was refered by BamaE4U.
5. wish to learn and share inspiration and news about this lovely industry
6. hope to understand needs of the retail florist more and help industry with new ideas

Good Morning Everyone,

I have recently been hired as the Creative Director of Morex Corp., Floral Division.
Morex Corp is proud to be a leading provider of decorative ribbon, offering the most extensive line of European ribbons available in the United States.

Morex Corp is now proud to announce it's expansion into the Floral Market. I was hired to help them in their new venture.

Previously I was the Artistic Director of another nationwise ribbon company. There it was my responsibilty to help pick the line of Ribbon and all Floral accessories. I am both grateful and excited about this opportunity to be working at Morex Corp.

I have fallen in love with the Floral Industry and .....flowers....well Flowers represent so much of what is beautiful in this world and not just a business. As you may be able to tell from my screen name I work not just from an industry point of view but also from my heart.

Flowers have an always have been a passion of mine and now I get work within the industry. That's so great for me.
I am hoping by joining this chat I can learn even more and talk directly to the people in this industry.
As I am not a sales person. I do not get as much contact with the retail florist as I would like.
A wonderful gentlemen invited me to join, a member of this group already, BamaE4U.

I have a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Part of Temple University, PA. In a past life I was the Art Director for Nationwide magazines, consumer and trade and a Nationwide Conference and Exposition.
Experience on the 4/c magazines and photo shoots, included flowers a lot, has given me a great basis to move into this industy.
Good design crosses all industries. I hope I never stop learning and sharing.
