We've been in business for 30 years.

I have no formal floral education, just years of on-the-job training, learning something new every day.

I was referred to Flower Chat by Bill Shodowski of Transflora, in his weekly newsletter.

I hope to gain new ideas and networking opportunities through this membership.

I've been a floral designer for almost 30 years.

We are located in a wonderful old, commercial building on Magazine St. in the lower Garden District of New Orleans.

Peggy I second the emotion of what a great website! Very informative. Why do you use the wording "Typically" with your designs? Is that so that if someone calls and its $80 instead of $75 you aren't screwed? Its not a cookie cutter website too which is great. You'll find lots of info on here..really great...WELCOME!

I've spent about 25 minutes going through your pages. ?? How do the order forms come to you? Email, fax?

Now that Val. is behind us, I can get a minute to sit at the computer! Thanks for your kind words about the website, I have a lot of fun with it. The order forms come by email. We don't have a secure server so for now this is the best we can do, it makes it nice too in that we have to contact the customer and then have the chance to ask any questions about the order. How's things in Millinocket? I'm from Maine and have been down here in New Orleans for about 10 years. I used to work for M.A. Clark, then when they folded I worked for Bill Sheehan at Lougee and Fredericks.
 
Oh my goodness!! Bill is our President of Maine State Florists' (finally after all his years of volunteering)

Yes, the "typically" is there for just that reason, and thanks for your comments about the website. Hurricane Katrina got us started with the site. I taught myself how to make a website while we were closed for a few months, and it's been evolving ever since.
