Thought I'd share a very sweet idea for a flower girl....a very very small version of the bride's bouquet. We did this for a recent wedding, and it was a huge success.

Thanks.

I'm having a terrible time getting pictures, I'll post if I can get some :)

Recently started to seriously share contact info with the photographer instead of relying on the bride. I also have a clause in my contract for brides' permission, so guess I'll see if this works better.

You might want to count on just taking your own photos.
Unless I have a relationship with the photographer, they always say
they will send me some and never do.
If they do great, but, I never leave without taking my own .

Here's a picture from a wedding Saturday, the petite bouquet is on the left. Dear hubby got me a camera for my birthday :)

p.s. now I need to take a picture of the front sides of the bridesmaids bouquets!

I've noticed lately that brides are getting more reluctant to permit use of their photos, citing "security issues." They know that florists want to use photos of their designs on web sites, Facebook, and e-mail newsletters, and are concerned that their names and faces, and those of their family, will "get on the internet." I assure them that I will crop out everything except the designs, but that doesn't seem to hold much weight. Unless I have the time, energy or remember to take photos myself (which isn't always easy on site), I'm sometimes out of luck.

I only take photos of the flowers.....I don't really want the faces in my
pics. Then "security " shouldn't be an issue.

This year, I have never had so many photographers wanting me to use their pictures. Almost every wedding I've done, the photographers had sent me access to their postings on pictage or other sites that feature their photos. And, they have been very eager to allow me to use their pictures on my site. I always ask the bride if I can use their pictures, have never gotten a "no".

Offer to happily crop off their heads...afterall, we just want to see the flowers anyway. I can't imagine telling a bride that though... "Um, we just need you from your boobs to your knees" :hippy2:

I've had the opposite - recently friended an old bride on FB and looked at her pics. I asked if she would mind if I used one in an advertisement & she was excited to say yes.

cute bouquet, BTW!

Finally getting pictures! Here's another petite bouquet. I make them with sweethearts and mini's to match the bride.
