Petunia Tree

Yes it is a regulated and timed watering system. I don't have to touch it all summer long except to fertilize. It waters for 30 minutes twice a day on a slow drip. My husband made this. People stop in and ask me what kind of tree is it? When I tell them it is a giant plant stand shaped like a tree, they are surprised.

There is 26 black 8" mum pots in this tree with 3 petunia plants in each... but we have made them bigger and smaller than that. We have had a few customers buy them. You can make them in many shapes.

That is so cool! We have a lady here in the Sault that does something similar in pink petunias but she has gone a little overboard and it now looks like something the Starship Enterprise should be docking at. ?She also has a ferris wheel of pink petunias. I like your tree a lot better. Gudrun

Your Petunia Tree reminds of these. I think it is in British Columbia, Canada......but there is a place called Victoria Harbor.....and they are known for just absolutly gigantic hanging flower baskets. From what i have read about them, they average on the line of 3 to 4 feet across and with trailing foliage, 3 to 4 feet tall.

In other words - They are HUGE.

Here's a picture of them

Those are really nice. In the village where I am, I would like to get businesses to sponsor benches and planters along the main drags. We really need to pretty up the town.
