Hey if you get a letter from Proflower's Lawyer Ryan, let me know and I'll remove these pics. :)

I took these pics at a farm in California. They are in bed with Proflowers and fill for all their affiliates like martha Stewart. They also fill for flowerbud.com. Flowerbud got in with them before proflowers and that is the only reason they still fill for flowerbud. This farm will not fill for anyone else because of the partnership with PF. These pics were taken over 3 years ago.

These boxes come straight down from the ceiling.

Images on the wall they look at on how to arrange them.

Vases they use.

Boxes they use. These boxes were stack 10 feet high and probably 50 feet long.

I hope you liked these! :) If you have any questions about fresh from the farm (FFtF) I'll try to answer them for you.

Frightening...

I'll vouch for you...have seen the SAME set-up at a local wholesaler in Philly. Boxed stacked up to the ceiling, conveyor belt, TONS of cases of vases, and menus posted all around. Only, I have seen this as recently as three weeks ago...

And Real FLorists are still supporting this wholesaler?

BTW Herb...you did not return my call today:boggles:

Yeah Philly, no farms on the east coast, so they have to use middlemen in Miami and up around your neighborhood. 80% of our flowers are shipped East of Texas and when you start in with FedEx zone prices, it makes sense to have a filler up in your neck of the woods. My guess is PF has an 80-85% dicount on overnight shipping with FedEx.

If I remember right...the cost to them, and the likes of FTD Direct are about 7 bucks a box...meaning that they make a 100% mark-up on the shipping too, based on charging a $14.95 shipping fee...or more

Pictures are gone, so I guess someone complained.

Not that I know of... maybe Brandon had another server issue like yesterday:rolleyes:

Sorry guys, my site was being moved from a NT server to Linux and has been fixed.

I have all the numbers worked oiut for epic and at 75%, our discount..SSShhhhhh... The average price is like $9.46. BUT that is out of miami and is the average price for a DIM wieght box of 7 from zone 2-8 in the US. So that $7 is probably pretty close for an average, but logistically they send flowers so they NEVER have to send to a 5-8 zone.
