Another member of the Community contacted me about the *new* listings that showed up in one of the Pittsburgh phone books this go around.

I wonder how many books these listings are in...??

Florist FTD Directroy Information 888-684-1371 And the same listing with 412-261-0191

There are exact same listings for Florist Teleflora Directory Listing 888-837-1130 and then another listing using the same local (412) number as above.

A Google search of this local number shows this that I'm pretty sure is a fake directory (duh). The site is registered to... WebShell Networks

Glen...interesting that that is the only listing with a "ranking". Not sure if the positive ranking came from the negative comments or not....
 
I say let's sic the WS attorneys on them. Looks like possible cases of trademark infringement.

Of course, all that will do is make the company turn the phone numbers over to the actual WSs.

Wonder if the YP company will give their favorite song and dance about not being responsible for the content of their listings.

Did anyone try calling the numbers to see if there's really a referral directory or whether its just an OG?

Tried 3 times this morning... "All circuts are busy now, please try your call again later"....

Could be from the severe storms we had here last night...lots of power and phone outages...or maybe the TF lawyers got to them already,as they were alearted to these listings two days ago...
 
Not here but 1800 is now B&M ...

in our new AT&T (was SBC) yellow pages ads 1800 now has a big picture of a B &M shop. 1/2 page ad and over half the ad shows a building and a delivery vehicle. sigh...
