I have posted some pictures of the competition entries in Society of Floristry, they are in my gallery. I did not do any of them, they are just some of my favourites but thought the designers may want to look for inspiration. I was certainly inspired by most of the work i saw, and by the demos...

The theme was cirque de fleur, the handbags were not part of a comp that was just on someones stand, i cant remember who now. The heart bouquets were one comp, i thought the blue one should have won but it didnt even get placed.
 
I to liked the blue the colours were fab although when I looked at mark sheet and then at bouq could see where the marks were lost tis a pity you didn't put a pic of the winning bouq up for comparison have it on my camera and will try to put it on although with them in different places it will be harder to decide on a personal choice did try to spot you sorry we didn't get to say hello.
 
I took photos of everything Rach but i thought it best to put up my favourites as they were in my album. The one that come first was not a favourite of mine personally though. I must say i have not put these up for comparison more for inspiration. Rach did you have a red top on?
 
I thought that the one that won it was amazing, i really loved it. i have a photo, but left the camera at work, or i would put a pic up.
 
No hun it was Turquoise actually thinking about it the blue bouquet would have matched my top perfectly lol
 
I kept on seeing a women with a red top on and heard her speaking irish and had it in my head it was you. I would have said hello but i could not be sure, good job i didnt now anyway lol.

The blue one just stood out for me cos i love those colours together, there was another one similar actually from a demonstrator i think. Got to say though i did not read the mark sheet for that one. Am not a judge ob just my likkle old opinion.
 
Trying to think of what the girls were wearing there was 8 over from here and can't blinking think whether any one of them had red on will look through my pics though try and jog this befuddled old brain lol yes funny how we all see something different 1st place in the head dress section didn't appeal to me at all thought it shouldn't have been placed at all hmmmm doctors differ and all that
 
The blue/turquoise, was a lovely colour, but the work and detail on the one that came 1st was top class, beat all the others hands down .JMHO
 
Oh well i mainly put these up for the people who could not make it and the guys from the states to see differences, we like to compare. Doesnt really matter who won anyway does it, it wasnt any of us anyway. lol.

Palms do you fancy doing a poll type thread for fun see how many doctors differ as they say I wouldn't have a clue lol so would be relying on you still finding my way round here and still being soooooo stoopid I know lol what's new I hear you say lol

Palms, thank you so much for posting your photos from Nottingham it's great to see them, an awful lot of thought have gone into them. Well done to the designers.

I liked the one that won ! Gorgeous...it looked like the orchids had been squirted with ink ? So many people in there , i couldnt get close enough ! Surely they werent dyed? Really beautiful !
 
Not really Rach. You can start your own thread on the "winner" if you want but i put these up for a completely different reason than that. Like i have said i just wanted the guys who didnt go to see the stuff and get inspired like i did. ;)
