I have a client who wants to pin-spot centerpieces for a large corporate event we do each year.

Their cloths are black & white, with white chinese lanterns hanging around the room.

They're asking me about pin-spotting the centerpieces in hot pink or white, for a dramatic vivid appearance. I have zero experience in lighting (no one I've worked with on events has used it yet, other than this group).

What color flowers would be most dramatic for this ?
White flowers w/hot pink pin spotting?
Or
Hot Pink flowers w/hot pink pin spotting? Or hot pink flowers w/white pin spotting?

My mind's eye tells me pink with pink ...
thoughts?
thanks!

Hi Tracy,

JMO, but I really prefer white pinspotting. It pops the flowers more dramatically than a color. You could use the pink flowers, or even white is stunning with pinspots.

I agree...white pinspotting. The pink on pink won't be as bright as you probably want it to be. we always spot with white and wash the walls with color.
