Thanks for all the input on designs. I was in need of advice, thank you, got what was needed. Some shots taken of the table designs. What ya think?
Connie came and helped (great to have her support) so here's a shot of a great florist team.hehe
Connie enjoyed lunch with you... we just don't get to talk shop often enough.
We burn each others ears on tips and advice... we don't take the time for small talk.

Now, if we can REMIND Connie to send me the registration and hotel info STATE CONVENTION......SO I CAN BE THERE with you two.

Love the pics, and love use of the pinapple sideways, very different!! Also love the designs..

Elmo (Ellen) is the short one.Thank you all for being instrumental in posting your ideas for this project I had on hand. I was told the smell of the pineapples set the feel of the event. Tropical dishes of pineapples were used and once again the school's have very small budgets to work with. Now I set the bar to show these teachers this shop can think outside the box.
These arrangements were used for three events. From Tuesday to Friday a.m.
They were put in the schools cooler and I saw photo's Friday afternoon of the last event,they held up nicely.(to my surprise).

Rick, I'm going to the board meeting today. Will ask for another set of materials. I tried to email you, but don't think it went through. I'll be in the shop most of the day on Monday, so call me.
 
This event was a fun time for me. I was not scheduled to go to the shop until the afternoon, so I just went down to "help" Ellen. She had all of the designing done, so my helping consisted of carrying a box and cutting a few flowers for the cake.

The flowers were really beautiful, and Ellen worked some magic within the budget.

It is a real treat to have a friend in the business with whom you can discuss all details of business.

I got the e-mail Connie, but it was blank - no text, images, or attachments.

Ellen, You should be proud of the work you did, I think you rose to the challenge admirably.

What kind words Connie. I heard some of the people there were trying to figure out how they were made to be able to copy at another time. DIY's in the schools big time. So glad the designs were not their normal view of center pieces. Hope to have that locked in contact come fall. New blood in charge of the school come fall. Past Principal had been there over 25 years.
Time for a change.
 
Just wanted to post an up date on here. MOG came in today with the Clemson school colors of orange and purple in mind for rehearsal dinner center pieces, she saw the photo's of the pineapple designs and I'm holding the money in hand for 15 pineapple center pieces!!!!!!( Thank heavens)
I just love it when I get our small town folk to see other than old school design. Wasn't even suggesting this design, the bride and groom are going to Jamaica, so the tropical themed rehearsal dinner is on!
Doing the Happy Dance, Oh yea .
