I have just used the large green floral sheets and pan glued the oasis directly to it.....figured it only had to last for the event so I didn't use a dish.Used large monstera leaves to hide the styrofoam.:)

You might also want to use fishing line and weights to anchor down in the pool to keep them from all floating to one end. I have used just reg stryofoam with oasis glued to it too and it works also

That's what we do! Trick is to get the fishing line long enough to reach bottom. Ideally, a foot longer than the depth needed. They will still move around with the filter etc. but at least stay pretty much where you want them. No picts - yet...

We do them on styro sheets, hot glue oasis on to them. Depending on your flowers, and the size of the styro base, weight may be a bit of a factor... no Titanic action needed here!

I did it!! It worked!!!

I thought you might like to see the results.... The party is tomorrow and I made the arrangements today and delivered them for them to put in the pool tomorrow!! The Big one we called the "Titanic" as it was heavy.... but with added styrofoam, we got it to float... My son help as he had to go into the pool.

Well done - Beautiful job - nice arrangements and cute kid.

Good question on floating design. We did this one a year or so back. See pictures and how to instructions. An OASIS Sculpting Sheet floats and can be cut to any size. OASIS Floral Products is working on a few more floating options. Good thing here is that the enhanced floral foam by OASIS Floral Products also keeps flowers looking fresher longer. Pool water is not so good for flowers.

Hope this helps. - Jacque, [email protected]

Another item that would be of great help is to introduce OTHER sizes of the SCULPTING SHEET besides just the 22 inch square. Smithers Oasis UK produces sizes upto 2 feet wide and 4 feet long.
