Sent an FTD order to Alexanders Flowers in Daley City, California on Nov 14 for delivery the 19th. Our customer calls us on saturday Nov 24 asking us to check and see if this got delivered as she spoke with the recipient and she had not received anything. WE sent an "ASK" message saturday afternoon asking if there was a problem, and to please check into it, and let us know. No message on the Mercury over the weekend. Sent another message today as our customer called again, and would still like the flowers delivered. Still no response from florist. Now I am getting a little upset. I call Alexanders, and get a answering service (Teleflora?). This would have been around 11:30AM California time. They couldn't help me out. I asked if they were even open, and she couldn't tell me. She said maybe they're trying to recover (catch up)from the Holiday. I called FTD customer service and asked if they could contact them, they said just to send a "CAN" message and sometimes that gets their attention. All I want to know is where are my customers flowers. She has been very kind with us. We sent the CAN message, and resent the order to the other florist in town, who will hopefully take good care of it for us. Whatever happened to a little professional courtesy. These folks should just lock their doors, because they are of no use to us, or to anyone else I'm sure. Anyone hear of this florist, or have similar problems?
